I woke up this morning and just felt like a mac truck had run over me.  Don’t you hate that?  I sure do.  I have a dull headache, body aches and tummy just doesn’t feel quite right either.  Man I sure hope I’m not coming down with anything.  Maybe it’s just all of this stinking rain that has me feeling all ‘blah’ all over.

Boy has it been a hot one today.  All of a sudden, the temperature dropped and thank goodness for the rain.  We really needed some rain and relief from the summer heat was an added bonus.  This time of year, I would rather be in Alaska where it’s still cool but green at the same time instead of only white like it is in the winter.  Then again, I was born here and lived here most of my life so I see no reason to go anywhere else.  I’ve seen all of this old world that I care to see.

This has been the coolest summer that I can ever remember.  By now it’s usually hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk but this year we have had very few really hot days.  I’m not complaining now so don’t think that but it just surprises me.  Usually by this time of year, the temperature stays pretty much above 90 and a lot of temperatures above 95 but we have had some really nice days.

Hey, what happened to all of that global warming they were talking about.  Maybe now we’re on the verge of a new Ice Age!!!  It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they came up with that now.

I absolutely love camping.  In fact, I have a small RV that I always take when I visit friends so I won’t be in their way if you know what I mean.  I had been looking for RV Awnings because mine didn’t have one and they’re nice to have so you can sit outside and not burn up in the hot Texas or Louisiana sun.  I learned a long time ago that when I need something for my RV, I can usually find it on this web site.  They haven’t let me down yet and I can’t say that about every other place I have checked out either here or online.

It gets awful hot in Louisiana in the summer.  In fact, it was rather warm today and when I went to the store, my darn air conditioner just quit putting out cold air.  All it was blowing out was air!  My guy that works on my car said that I needed a new air conditioning compressor and I didn’t like the price he quoted me for the part.

My little computer geek I know found a Chevrolet AC Compressor online a lot cheaper for me.  In fact, you can find just about any a/c auto part you need.  They even carry parts for Mercedes and BMW air compressors too.  One things for sure, you don’t want to wait till summer before you fix it!!!
